WE SUBMITTED SHORT FILMS TO THE LOCAL TV STATIONS THAT WOULD AIR THEM, AND EVENTUALLY MAKE ITS WAY INTO LOCAL NEWSPAPERS AND THIS IS HOW WE GAINED RECOGNITION BEFORE SOCIAL MEDIA WAS CREATED.

Paula has been making films since 1977 with her brother Phil and his best friend Jeff Eastin. Jeff is now an American television producer and screenwriter. He is the co-creator of the crime series White Collar and the police drama series Graceland, both on the USA Network. Eastin also served as executive producer and showrunner for both shows. Back in the 70 we submitted films to local TV stations to air and if it did well, then you would get in the newspaper! (see below).
After a long pause, in 2015, Paula and her niece, Maddie decided to launch Maddie and Tunia's Weekend Show. Paula moved to Florida in 2019 and God blessed her with new, wonderful group of people. (Actors, Crew, etc).
Paula won best director award for Malfunction at the Melbourne Independent Film Festival (MIFF)

Hayley is very passionate when it comes to creative film making. Included besides writing stories, she launched her own company, Crystal Clear Enterprises. She is driven on on how powerful stories can touch lives, spark conversation or even view how one would see the world. Storytelling is just one of Hayley's many strong talents.

Carlee Englert is a model and actress. She graduated from John Casablanca school In the vpa program at her high school. She has performed a many theatrical productions and has been in several films. Her most recent accomplishment was being cast as snow white.

Talliana Marie Barwick is an aspiring actress with five years of theater experience and two years in film. She has appeared in Malfunction 2 and had multiple featured scenes as an extra in F+ on Apple+. On stage, she was honored to play Delia in Beetlejuice and is currently portraying Patty in Grease.
Dedicated to her craft, she has spent the past three years training in acting, stage combat, improv, and a variety of performance-focused classes. While she values the growth and opportunities theater has given her, her true passion is pursuing a future in film and television, where she is eager to continue expanding her career and storytelling on screen.

Charlotte Parker received her Master of Science degree in Audiology and worked in the healthcare field diagnosing and treating hearing loss and vestibular disorders.
Charlotte pursued her passion for acting and joined the Red Octopus Theater group in Little Rock, AR. She acted in numerous plays and short films alongside talented actors like Natalie Canerday and Christy Ward, who were nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for their roles in Sling Blade. Despite her love for acting,
Charlotte put her dreams on hold to take care of her mother, who was diagnosed with Dementia. Charlotte moved back to Florida and now after her mother's passing, she is fulfilling her promise to pursue her acting dreams. She has taken classes from industry professionals like David Wenzel, Barry Shapiro, and Ellen Jacoby, and completed Improv training at 3rd Space Improv.
Charlotte also trained with Jimmy Carrane, a former Second City member She also worked as a licensed Tour Guide, giving Ghost Tours and performing at the Oldest Store. She performs improv in St. Augustine, FL

Miller Rayne Barwick is a dedicated young actress with over nine years of experience in musical theatre and four years in film and stage productions. She has trained extensively, attending several acting classes each week in improv, stage combat, and advanced acting technique.
Her film work includes speaking roles in Unicorn Sisters and Malfunction 2, as well as a featured appearance as an extra in a recent Apple+ production, F+. With a strong background in musical theatre, she brings passion, energy, and authenticity to every role she takes on.
Her true love is performing live on stage or behind a camera, where she thrives on connecting with audiences and bringing stories to life. With her talent, training, and commitment, Millie is excited to continue building her career as a performer and entertainer.

I caught the Star Trek fever after its original run from 1966-1969. As a kid back in the 70's. Along with my brother, we made cardboard communicators and other accessories. I have many Star Trek toys, walkie talkie communicators, etc. etc. I go to Star Trek conventions and do improv Star Trek comedy skits, sometimes in character in public. Star Trek has had a big impact on my life. Come, join the fun with improv skits.

Malfunction 2 continues the saga that began with the first Malfunction, a project that earned recognition at multiple festivals. This follow-up leans into its roots while pushing the story in new directions, exploring what happens when Sabrina Beck—one of the only survivors of the first film—installs a "new and improved" home security system meant to protect what remains of her family.
